Notification from National Highways

Dear Customer 

Important roadworks information 

I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out technology works on the A14 westbound between junctions 62 and 60. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother and better-defined road surface. 

We plan to complete this work overnight on Wednesday 7 January 2026. We will work between 8pm and 6am only, weather permitting.  

Closures and diversions 

To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A14 westbound between junctions 62 and 60, and divert traffic as follows: 

Traffic travelling westbound on the A14 will be diverted via the A154
