Suffolk Constabulary relaunches Suffolk SAFEKey
The service that helps you, the police and Suffolk Communities all from as little as £1 a month.
What would you do if you lost your keys?
Every year thousands of keys are lost, stolen or misplaced and cannot be returned to their rightful owners as it is not known who they belong to.
Suffolk Police operate Suffolk SAFEKey to provide recovery, and assistance should you lose your keys, as well as allowing Suffolk Police to access Suffolk properties in the event of an incident occurring whilst you are away.
As part of our commitment to keeping properties safe from crime, Suffolk Constabulary are offering residential and non-residential property owners an innovative service that provides protection and assistance should you lose your keys. It also allows Suffolk Constabulary access to your property in the event of an incident occurring while your property is unattended.
As a member of Suffolk SAFEKey, you will be issues with a Constabulary braded key fob. This will feature the force crest and a unique identifying number which will help reunite you with your keys should they be lost.
In addition, your information is stored on a secure and encrypted online system – with details of your nominated key holders, who Suffolk Constabulary will contact in order to enter your property in an emergency.
From just £1 per month, you can enjoy the following benefits:
£10 reward to the finder of your keys, courtesy of Suffolk SAFEKey
A window sticker to confirm membership to police officers attending your unattended property
Stay informed, tap the key fob on the back of your smartphone to view updates from Suffolk Constabulary on Facebook, using NFC technology.
Reduced risk of force entry to your property and potential incurred costs
The facility to store additional information if necessary
Accessible emergency contact and keyholder details should the police be called to your unattended property
Emergency helpline 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
